Zalat Pizza is a fast-growing pizza chain that offers handcrafted pizzas made from fresh dough, serving the late-night party crowd in Houston, Texas, and other cities in the US. Founded by Khanh Nguyen, the brand has 25 stores across the United States as of December 23, 2022.

Project Overview

Our web design and development team was hired by one of Zalat Pizza's chains to design and develop a new website for their business. The project involved creating a new online platform to showcase their products and services, allowing customers to place orders for delivery or pickup easily.

Project Vision

Our goal was to create a website that would showcase the brand's products and provide a seamless user experience. We decided to use WordPress and Woocommerce for the project to make managing and updating the website's content and product catalog easy. Our team also focused on the website's design, playing with brand colors #E77171 (a bright, warm, and energetic shade of red), #F2FE10 (a bright, almost neon yellow-green), white, and shades of gray and black to create an engaging visual experience for users. For example, using red on CTA's really did the trick!

One of the biggest challenges our team faced was website speed. As a business that operates in the fast-paced world of pizza delivery, it was essential to have a website that loaded quickly and efficiently. Therefore, the team worked tirelessly to optimize the website's speed, ensuring users could place their orders quickly and easily.

Our team's biggest highlight was the website's responsiveness, which gave it a mobile app-like experience. Users could easily navigate the website, browse products, and place orders from any device, whether it was a desktop computer, tablet, or smartphone. The website also provided a smooth and streamlined checkout process, which led to increased sales and customer satisfaction.
