About the Project
We were approached by UltraGlow, a family-owned cosmetic brand based in Florida, for a packaging redesign for their existing products. The project involved designing plastic and glass packaging materials, including decorative jars, bottles, and tubes. The design needed to align with the brand's identity and values.
Project Vision
UltraGlow's vision is to provide high-quality, cruelty-free cosmetics that enhance the natural beauty of every individual. They aim to inspire confidence and empower their customers to look and feel their best while promoting ethical and sustainable cosmetic practices. They envisioned a simplistic and minimalistic look for their packages that really showcased their woman lead business and target customer base of women aged 16-60.
Project Challenges
The challenge for us was understanding the feminine concept they envisioned and creating packaging that would align with their target customer base of women aged from teen girls to senior women. With such a competitive market, developing a design that stood out in a crowded market was challenging. The packaging needed to be functional, aesthetically pleasing, and eco-friendly. In addition, we had to consider the different materials used for packaging and design them to be visually appealing and practical.
Project Delivered
We delivered a packaging design that perfectly captured the brand's identity and values. The design incorporated custom fonts and a color scheme that complemented UltraGlow's existing branding, using white, black, and a soft pink hue. The packaging design helped UltraGlow's products stand out on shelves, with a sleek and modern aesthetic that conveyed the brand's commitment to quality and sustainability. The packaging design also contributed to UltraGlow's vision to inspire women, from teens to senior adults.
