A mother-daughter duo created Twoborn Twin Nursery to offer exclusive nursery bedding and accessories designed specifically for twins. The brand was born out of a need for coordinated and stylish products for parents of twins.
Project Overview
We designed and developed a custom website for Twoborn Twin Nursery using Shopify as the CMS and PHP and Preact as the technology stack. The website was designed to showcase their collection of twin-specific products.
Project Vision
The vision for the Twoborn Twin Nursery website was to create a user-friendly and visually appealing platform for parents of twins to shop for nursery bedding and accessories. The website design played with soft and cute pinkish tones to evoke the feeling of a baby's nursery.
Project Challenges
In the Twoborn Twin Nursery project, we faced the challenge of creating a website design that reflected the brand's unique identity and catered to its target audience - parents of twins. Our team at SNtrix worked closely with the client to understand their vision and brand values. To achieve a cohesive design, we incorporated the primary color palette of light pink, yellow, and light blue into the website design. We also used the primary font Butler and the secondary font Acherus Grotesque to create a consistent visual language throughout the site.
Integrating these colors was challenging because we had to ensure they complemented each other and didn't clash with the product images. However, with careful consideration and several rounds of revisions, we created a design that was visually appealing and easy to navigate.
Project Highlight
The key highlight of the project was the website's custom design, which showcased the brand's mission to provide exclusive products for twins. The soft color scheme and custom font style gave the website a unique "look and feel" that resonated with new parents.
